This spectacular mid century modern bracelet is beautifully constructed with heavy decorative chain links studded with sparkling multicolor aurora borealis rhinestones and elegant faux pearls. Though unmarked, this bracelet is likely a Lisner design, based on the shiny, pooled metal rhinestone cups and heavy links evident on the back of the piece.
Bracelets with this construction were popular during the 1950s, when Austrian aurora borealis rhinestones were invented. This bracelet measures ?” long and ?” wide. The sturdy fold over clasp is studded with tiny rhinestones for a bit of extra flair.
When I rescued this bracelet, I had no idea it would turn out so beautifully. I removed all the loose rhinestones and peeling pearls, and found replacement vintage gems that fit the tone and original flavor of the bracelet. Nothing makes me happier than recovering a long-unloved piece of gorgeous vintage jewelry and finding it a new home!
